Although the main deity in this temple is Lord Siva, Lord Ayyappa has more importance.
If we worship Lord Siva in this temple, then it will be helpful for the people who
suffer from fits (brain diorder).
On the day 'Uthram' of the malayalam month 'Meenam',the temple has its festival.Eight
day of celebration is there and ends with 'Aarattu'.Also there is grand celebrationfor
'Makaravilakku' and 'Sivarathri'.
The main offering is 'Thiyattu'.There believes that intense devotion to Lord Ayyappa
will help to remove all eye diseases.
