The presiding deity is lord ayyappa. Except Lord Ayyappa, Bhagavathy is also having
presence in this temple as one of the deity with same importance. Lord Sastha resides
in the south side and Bhagavathy in north, both deities facing to East side.
The 'kodiyettu' of the annual festival is on 'uthram' of the malayalam month 'Kumbham'.
Annual festival celebration ends after eight days along with 'Arattu'.
'Elluthiri' is the main offering here for Lord Ayyappa. 'Paranirakkal' is also important
in the temple.
