The presiding deity is Lord Sreedharma Sastha. Kannadichal Sreedharmasastha temple
is considered as one of the famous ayyappa temple in kannur district. Temple is
located at kadachira. Unlike other temples in kerala, sree dharmasastha temple has
its own unique rituals, poojas and architectural excellence.
The other sub deities worshipped here are Lord Ganapathi and Goddess Durga
Mandala Pooja, Makara Vilakku, Karthika Vilakku, Vishukani, Utsavam (festival) are
famous days in this temple.
Lord ayyappa also known as "Saniswaran" and thus every saturday special poojas (Niramala)
are conducted. Saturdays are special for this temple
During Sabarimala pilgrimage season, thousands of 'ayyappas' set out their pilgrimage
with 'irumudikkettu' from the premises of this holy shrine
