The presiding deity of this temple in lord ayyappa. The deity in this temple was
called 'Karinkkutty chathan' first. So the temple is also known as 'Karinkuttykavu'.
This temple is one of the ancient kavu.
The deity is facing to the west side. Sub deities are Lord Ganapathy, Nagaraja,
Naga yakshi and Eswarakala Bhoothathan.
Devotees celebrates festival for five days and it ends with 'Makaravilakku'. Also
the day 'Uthram' of every 'pankuni' month is also special.
This temple is famour for 'Saneeswara pooja'. Many people approaches here for the
same reason.
