The presiding deity of this temple is Lord Ayyappa. In this temple the deity is
facing to the east side. The sub deities are Lord Vinayaka and Nagas. The temple
is also known as 'Koladi kavu'.
The festival of this temple is celebrated in eight days. Its on the day 'uthram'
of the month 'Meenam'. Another type of celebration is also ther in this temple which
is known as 'Kuvvakoladi'. Its on the day of 'Pallivetta'. This is done just for
refreshing the remembrance of war. In this activity, the villegers engage in war
like activity.
