Festival is on 3rd thursday of malayalam month kumbham which is the birth day of
Devi. This is celebrated as the yearly festival here. The festival starts with "Kathiru
vela" in the 3rd Friday of Vrichikom month of malayalam calendar.
Chandattam, Udayastamana Pooja, Vedi are the main offerings. Tuesdays, Fridays and
Sundays are more important .
